Lyle Joe Iman: James and Catharine had five children: Hannah (b-1846), Nancy (b-1847), Henry (b-1850), Abraham (b-1852), and Jacob J (my g-grandfather, b-1854). I did mange to find, in the Grant County Courthouse, James's death record. Unfortunate ly, the information for his parents had apparently been erased. I have not been able to find any marriage or birth information that might give a lead to James's parents.James and Catharine had five children: Hannah (b-1846), Nancy (b-1847), Henr y (b-1850), Abraham (b-1852), and Jacob J (my g-grandfather, b-1854). I did mange to find, in the Grant County Courthouse, James's death record. Unfortunately, the information for his parents had apparently been erased. I have not been able to fin d any marriage or birth information that might give a lead to James's parents.

A James was paying taxes in Hardy county starting in 1836. This would have been at about his 20th birthday. A James Iman died 1893 of unknown parents at age 77. He married Catherine Sites.
