2. HANS2 EYMAN (HANS1) was born 1621 in Oberdiessbach, Bern, Switzerland, and died Aft. 1672 in Germany. He married ANNA OPLINGER 16 February 1654/55 in Bern, Switzerland. She died Aft. 1672. Notes for HANS EYMAN:
In 1671 Hans was imprisoned (listed as about 48 years old), perhaps in the basement of Thun Castle, for "re-baptizing" others, a practice much admonished by the local authorities. Hans was with his father living at Ibersheim, Germany in January o f 1672, age 50. He had left his wife and five children in Switzerland. Hans was called an Anabaptist at the baptism of his daughter Anna in 1672 and was reported as "Out of the Country." Source: Torsten Eymann
