SKAMANIA COUNTY PIONEER, 14 September 1945, obituary, Mrs. May Iman Passes Away after Illness, "Mrs. May Iman, wife of Louis Iman, Stevenson, pioneer, passed away at the Bonneville Sanitarium Wednesday evening after a long illness. She had been i
n the Sanitarium for several months where she had been visited by many relatives and old time friends during her stay there. She was 73 years old. According to her brother Forrest Eyman, she had been a resident of Stevenson since she was 12 year
s old, coming here in 1884. She was the oldest girl in a large family, a daughter-in-law of Louis Eyman who was among the first to land at what was then known as Shepherd's Point, the name of the present site of Stevenson. She became the wife of L
