Notes:

There is a great deal of confusion about Christian Eymans.

This Christian is the eldest son of Ulrich (the immigrant), and is variously thought to have been born 1731 in Germany, though one sometimes sees estimates as late as 1740. This Eyman has been though by some not to have come to America with his fa ther, though he is mentioned in Lancaster records as having received the inheritance of his father. This is likely the gentleman of Conestoga in 1770. Some accounts have him married to a Catherine, and possible this is the same person as the Chris tian of Hardy (We'll call him Christian III)

National Genealogical Society Quarterly, Volumes 1-85, 1600s-1900s__ Volume 44, Bible Records: Moorman, Nicholas, Thomas Wakefield; Henry L. Fehl; Herring Bibles, Page 169
which shows two Christian Eymans and a Susana Eyman buried in the
Henry L. Fehl Cemetery.
There are two Christian Eymans buried at Fehls Farm in Conestoga very near Postlethwait's Tavern, apparently near where Eyman lands were. According to (Graveyard on farm of Henry Lantz Fehl, by Albert H. Gerberich, Ph.D., Bethesda, Md.) This grav eyard is on the north side of Long Lane on the site of old Postlethwaite's Tavern, Conestoga Township, Lancaster Co., PA One gravestone apparently suggests a Christian who died in 1822 at age 82 (therefore likely birth 1740), and another died 9/6 /1834 at age 74 (est birth 1760). A wife, Susanna, age 54 is also buried there, having died 3/1/1826. The Eyman graves are among the earliest in the small farm cemetery. Reports from on-site visits by Terry Iman of Baltimore suggest that there ar e two adjoining items of interest. One unmarked stone adjoins Susan quite conspicuosly, and these stones are very close to a large fieldstone either marking the entire cemetery or a possibly related gravesite for the family.

Gerberich, who provided an early report on this cemetery, noted that the graves were on the North side of Long Lane at the site of Postlewaithes Tavern. "Christian Eyman had lived on the first farm West of Fehl on the same (N) side of Long Lane. " (Quite a large old house stands in this position today though it's age cannot be clearly determined.) The marked graves note:
Eyman, Christian d 10/6/1822 aged 82
Eyman, Christian d 9/6/1834 age 74
Eyman, Susannah d 1826 age 54
Also buried here is Mary Brenneman, who was a Fehl who had married Henry Brenneman of Conestoga (1765-1820), and Andreas and Barbara F—hl, the ancestors of all Fehls. Fehls also lived in Manor and Martic. The Fehls family still resides on the wel l marked site in Conestoga today.

Patti Cooper has this Christian married to a Sarah (Katherine) Landis about 1760.
